Is on the first floor, and is a simply-decorated room with blue furnishings. Lobby is medium-sized, with plenty of seating. A corridor leads through to a very popular bar and steakhouse diner. They are of medium size and in good condition, as are the bathrooms. There are no touches of luxury, but they have a clean and smart appearance and are well worthy of a good four-star status. The hotel ferrum is located in the main square, right in the centre of Kiruna. The town is a major mining centre in the heart of Swedish lappland, and the hotel offers views out across the wilderness which surrounds Kiruna, as well as of the large open mine which dominates its economy.
